Why tumble?
There are many reasons people tumble and should tumble… you learn a better sense of balance, strength and flexibility that can help you in many situations in life. Fitness has always been a very important part of life and the focus in today’s society has grown even stronger than in the past. If that wasn’t enough in itself… Each time you gain a skill in tumbling you gain a sense of self-confidence. This is where there is a “catch 22,” there are many programs and coaches out there that are teaching your child tumbling and they don’t have the experience to do so. This can actually rob your child of their confidence as they are pushed too quickly to gain skills they are not yet ready for. This can cause serious injuries as well!Xcel 360’s Tumbling Academy uses a combination of traditional gymnastics training with an accelerated process that allows athletes to gain the skills they need quickly in a safe sequence using safe techniques. We work to build our athletes confidence to gain and maintain the more exciting advanced skills of tumbling. We care very much about our athletes and want to see them succeed in their tumbling goals!

Chris Stambek - Originally from Michigan, Chris currently works as a baseball instructor for Baseball Factory as well as the current Assistant Varsity/Head Junior Varsity Coach at Sunlake High School. He was a former baseball instructor for Ripken Baseball. He received his Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from Western Michigan University, where he was a Strength and Conditioning Intern. Chris played 4 years of college baseball, 2 years at Kalamazoo Valley Community College and 2 years at Olivet College, both located in Michigan. He was a 2nd Team All-State selection as an Infielder in 2001 in Michigan. Chris likes to work all aspects of baseball, speed and agility, strength and conditioning, proper throwing mechanics, hitting, fielding, and base running.

Cages are rented out by 15 minute increments. We have a total of 4 cages, 4 hitting stations and one bullpen with a pitching mound (Baseball & Softball). It is always a good idea to reserve a cage in advance because we are fully booked many nights and you are taking a gamble showing up hoping for cage usage. Reservations require a 50% deposit over the phone or in person.
